Railway Children TransportHeritage Railway Timetable

Diesel and steam trains will be running every weekend throughout July and on Wednesdays during school holidays.

Big Pit National Mining Museum

Open as usual throughout the summer from 9:30am – 5:00pm (last entry 4:30pm) with underground tours every day.  Just as much to see above ground as underground so why not make a day of it.

IronworksBlaenavon Ironworks

1st & 2nd July Steampunk returns to Blaenavon.

Today’s technology in Victorian style tells the story of industry through fun and games, music and fashion, art, comedy and good Victorian manners. Enjoy tea duelling and the Steampunk Olympics, as well as talks, rapping, demonstrations and craft stalls.
