Tackle The Tumble Challenge

Take a look at the video below for one of the hardest road climbs in South Wales.

The Tumble is rated as a category 2 climb in the list of official 100 climbs collated by STRAVA.
4.6 kilometres with an average gradient of 8%. The overall elevation is 386m and so far the fastest time on record is 12.44 minutes recorded by Edoardo Zardini during the Tour Of Britain Race in Sept 2014.

Why not stay at Oakfield B&B in Blaenavon and set off on a personal challenge on 2 wheels?

We have garaged storage for bikes and can supply packed lunches on request (when ordered in advance).

Try out these routes:

Route 1: Blaenavon – Brynmawr – Abergavenny Circular

Route 2: Iron Mountain 70 Sportif (70 miles)

Route 3: Iron Mountain 100 Sportif (100 miles)

Record your best time for the climb on STRAVA and you could become the King, or Queen, of the Tumble.

So pump up your tyres, pack your lunch and off you go!
