November can be a quiet month in the run up to Christmas but here are a few events to finish the half term and to prepare you for Winter.
World Heritage Centre & Library
Half Term Activities – 11:00am – 4:00pm
Frightfully fun family activities over Halloween half term.
Wednesday – Halloween Crafts. £1 entry.
Thursday – Animal Handling with lizards, snakes & more. £1 entry.
Thursday – Story & Craft session in the Library at 2.30pm (pre-booking required). Free entry.
Halloween Treasure Hunt – all week ending Sun 5th November.

Blaenavon Camera Club will be displaying their artwork throughout November at the World Heritage Centre & Library
All members will have photos exhibited at the event.
This is the first time that the Camera Club has held such an event.
Ghost Stories Tour- 1st & 3rd November 7:00pm – 9:00pm
£10.00 per adult
An adult only evening tour of Blaenavon Ironworks, with ghost stories, spooky tales, historic folklore and ancient legends of Blaenavon and Blaenau Gwent.
Hear tales of Welsh myths and the legends of the Black Mountains, Blaenavon and Clydach area, the history of Halloween and local ghost stories of the Ironworks. Followed by hot drink refreshment and a mince pie.

Fireworks Display – 5th November 7:00pm
This is now an annual family party event with fairground rides, hot food, stalls and music all before the show begins at 7:00pm
Gates open 5:45pm.

Festival of Remembrance – 11th November 7:00pm
This year’s concert will include Blaenavon’s Ladies Choir, Blaenavon Town Band and Blaenavon Male Voice Choir.
A comedy play performed by the Suitcase Theatre Company.
Based on life in the 1950’s and 60’s
