A Day Out On The Wye Valley Walk

This short video shows you some of the wonderful mountains and scenery that can be seen only an hour from Oakfield B&B.
A day out to Hay-On-Wye where we walked a part of the Wye Valley Walk. We have already walked quite a bit of this long distance footpath.
The route chosen took us from Hay-On-Wye to Glasbury through the lanes on the one side of the River Wye and then crossed the bridge at Glasbury. We then picked up the Wye Valley Walk back to Hay-On-Wye on the other side of the river.
A 10.5 mile walk through the lovely Wye Valley on a beautiful Spring day.
When the video begins you will see Hay Bluff on the left. As it pans through you will see Lord Hereford’s Knob as the next mountain – yes it really is called that! Next is the range of mountains called the Black Mountains, and finally, in the distance on the right you can see the Brecon Beacons – Pen Y Fan and Corn Du.
