With the Welsh Government COVID-19 Regulations being continually updated here is a list of the opening times for the World Heritage Attractions as they stand today (18th July 2021).
Pre-booked tickets are required for entry to the ironworks (see screenshot).
Opening times are:
Closed Monday and Tuesday
Ticketed timed entry only

- £5.50 per adult,
- £18.00 per family (2 adults + 3 children),
- £3.90 each 5-17yrs,
- Under 5s or disabled & companion are FREE,
- Over 65s £5.05,
- Veterans/Armed Forces/NUS £3.90
Big Pit National Mining Museum
Opening times are Wednesdays – Sundays (closed Mon & Tues, except for Bank Holidays).
10:00am to 5:00pm but last entry is 3:30pm.

Blaenavon Heritage Railway
Blaenavon World Heritage Centre
Tourist Information and Visitors Centre opens 10:00am – 5:00pm Tuesday – Sunday (closed Mondays, except Bank Holidays)
Based in St. Peter’s Church School, the main exhibition hall displays a timeline of Blaenavon’s history alongside World History. The timeline starts in the early 1500s and works through the industrial revolution to present day Blaenavon.
Victorian Schoolroom and Film room are currently closed but hoping to re-open shortly.
Heritage Cafe opens 9:15am – 4:30pm Tuesday – Sundays (closed Mondays, except Bank Holidays).
(No hot meals after 3:45pm)
