Easter Activities AprilEaster Egg Trail at the Ironworks

Come and join in with our Easter trail, Teddy Bear’s picnic, and storytelling for children. Fun for all the family, with a free egg for the first 200 children to complete the Easter Egg Trail.
Event runs Sat 15th & Sun 16th April.

Children can bring their own teddy bear and picnic snack, and come and listen to stories together in Stack Square.

Easter Egg Trail: 11am – 4pm

Storytelling and picnic: Saturday only – 1-3pm

Easter Bunny Easter Bunny arriving by steam train!

Every year the Easter Bunny pays a visit to see the families on board the steam trains at Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway.
This year is no exception.
Buy a Day Rover Ticket and travel all day on the train. There will be an Easter egg for every child too.
Event runs Fri 14th, Sat 15th, Sun 16th & Mon 17th April

Why not catch the train to Big Pit station and enjoy some time underground?

Easter activities AprilEaster Activities at the World Heritage Centre & Library

There will be an Easter trail around the grounds and buildings of the World Heritage Centre every day (except Mondays) from Tuesday 11th April until Friday 21st April. £1.00 entry fee. Go along and try to solve the clues!

11th-14th and 18th-21st April there will be ‘make & take’ craft activities. Small fee of £1.00 per item made.

2:30pm Thursday 13th and 20th April there will be story and craft in the library

If that is not enough then step back in time to meet the founder of St Peter’s School, Miss Sarah Hopkins.
